5月15日，雷军发文称，小米自主研发设计的手机SoC芯片，名字叫玄戒O1，即将在5月下旬发布。 雷军表示：“小米十年造芯路，始于2014年9月。” 据公开信息，2017年小米曾发布首款自研SoC芯片澎湃S1，采用28nm工艺，搭载于小米5C手机，但一代之后没再延续。
