2001年九运会前，整个冬训期间柳海龙为了应对体能测试，将大部分精力都用在“跑圈”上。体测时他拼尽全力，勉强跑进2400米及格线，险些因体能测试失去九运会比赛资格。看来，运动员体能测试难度着实不小！
