这将是宁波连续三年举办羽毛球亚锦赛，在今年的宁波羽毛球亚锦赛中，国羽以2金3银6铜的成绩收官。

根据《中国羽毛球协会关于公开征集2026-2027年亚洲羽毛球锦标赛申办城市的通告》中的相关规定，确定浙江省宁波市为2026-2027年亚洲羽毛球锦标赛申办城市。
