人民财讯5月5日电，从中国国家铁路集团有限公司（简称“国铁集团”）获悉，5月4日，全国铁路发送旅客1978.6万人次，4月29日五一假期运输启动以来至5月4日，全国铁路累计发送旅客1.12亿人次，同比增长10.5%，运输安全平稳有序。5月5日，铁路返程客流继续攀升，全国铁路预计发送旅客2110万人次，计划加开旅客列车1896列。
