据央视新闻消息，当地时间29日，加拿大总理办公室发表公告称，加拿大总理卡尼与美国总统特朗普进行通话。两国领导人一致认为，加拿大和美国作为独立主权国家，携手合作对共同发展至关重要。两国领导人同意近期举行面对面会晤。（总台记者 赵淼）
