4月17日，有娱乐博主晒出《灵魂摆渡5》演员招募信息。
《灵魂摆渡5》被命名为《灵魂摆渡·十年》特别篇，开机时间为2025年5月，编剧仍然是小吉祥天，导演巨兴茂此前在《灵魂摆渡1》中饰演“五公子”饕餮。
