利拉德表示：“我在波特兰的最后一个赛季，那已经是两年前了，那会儿他们就叫我叔叔。在东部全明星的更衣室里，我是年纪最大的球员，我比他们都大很多，扬尼斯可能是最接近的，当时他29岁、我33岁，其他人都是24岁、25岁、26岁。”
