宁夏至湖南±800千伏特高压直流输电线路工程全长1634.3公里，额定电压±800千伏、额定容量800万千瓦，动态投资280.95亿元，是我国首条以输送“沙漠、戈壁、荒漠”新能源大基地电量为主的特高压外送通道。
