4月15日，ATP500慕尼黑赛，前大满贯冠军蒂姆担任挑边嘉宾。接受采访时，他表示：“我很享受退役生活。而且现在我可以用放松的心态看比赛，还能从不同的角度看待不同的赛事，很有意思。”
被誉为“红土小王子”的蒂姆获得过美网冠军、澳网亚军、两届法网亚军。2024年10月，正式宣布退役。
