外交部发言人4月3日宣布：应中国政府邀请，泰王国玛哈扎克里·诗琳通公主殿下将于4月7日至13日访问中国。
诗琳通公主是中泰友好的杰出使者，在过去40余年里多次来到中国访问参观，深入学习中国文化，并持续向泰国民众介绍中国，为深化两国友谊作出了卓越贡献。2019年9月17日，被授予中华人民共和国“友谊勋章”。
