缅甸国防部当地时间4月2日发布临时停火公告，宣布4月2日至22日临时停火。
在停火期间，敦促各少数民族武装组织和其他武装团体不要扰乱和攻击公共交通路线，不要伤害人民的生命和财产，不要攻击安全人员及其基地或干扰总部的行动。
