北京时间4月2日，2025年WTA500赛事查尔斯顿站继续进行，中国老将张帅击败对手顺利晋级女单次轮。
女单首轮，从资格赛突围的张帅以7-5、5-7、6-4击败布朗泽蒂，继澳网之后再取巡回赛正赛胜利，这也是她在2022年巴勒莫站之后的第一场WTA泥地正赛胜利。
下轮比赛中，张帅将再度迎战苦主普丁塞娃，后者目前保持对张帅的六连胜。
