西门子3月31日宣布，将在五年内投资1.5亿加元（约合9700万欧元），在加拿大建立全球电池生产人工智能制造技术研发中心。新研发中心初定于西门子加拿大奥克维尔总部、多伦多和滑铁卢，将重点开发尖端的人工智能制造技术，初期重点关注电池和电动汽车(EV)生产。
