此碗和田玉质，用料硕大，局部褐黄沁色，玉质包浆老旧，古意盎然。整体形体较大，敞口，斜腹，底部平整，碗壁剔地浅浮雕六字梵文真言：“唵嘛呢叭咪吽”，带有强烈的佛教题材意味。玉碗形制依稀仿自宋元瓷器，造型独特少见，应为佛前供器，是难得的收藏陈设精品佳作。
