微信在最近某次热更新中偷偷加入了一项新功能 —— 用户可主动清理已发出及已接收的原图、原视频，而无需等待微信14天自动清理。
也就是说，清理原图、原视频后，被清理的内容仍会在聊天记录中显示，但画质已降低为"普通画质"。该功能既能避免"图片已过期"，还能腾出存储空间，实现微信瘦身。（IT之家）
