阿里纳斯表示：“我不会交易任何人，不要交易你的阵容，你应该希望像骑士、活塞那样，只要对那些人做适当的调整，你就能看到结果的不同。太阳的问题就是他们的进攻体系，他们现在就是单打，但太阳的球员需要移动起来。”
在换帅之后，本赛季的骑士、活塞均有明显进步。
