财联社3月1日电，日本政府部门2月28日说，东北部岩手县大船渡市山火过火面积创日本30多年来纪录。过去三天，这场山火在大船渡市迅速蔓延，过火面积至少1200公顷。共同社等日本媒体28日援引日本消防厅的消息报道，这一数字超过了1992年北海道钏路市火灾过火面积1030公顷的纪录。
