2月27日，肉制品生产商丹麦皇冠（Danish Crown）宣布，已决定关闭其位于平湖的工厂并裁员112人。该公司表示，这处2019年开业的工厂是公司拓展中国业务计划的一部分，但未能成功产生预期收益。
丹麦皇冠首席财务官Anders Aakær Jensen对不得不做出这样的决定表示遗憾，称接下来将评估出售工厂和转移工厂设备两个选项。“公司倾向于出售工厂并已签署意向书，预计需要几个月达成最终协议。”
