消息源称，在勇士交易得到巴特勒前，勇士曾试图促成詹姆斯杜兰特加盟勇士和库里组队。
最终杜兰特表示无意加盟勇士，詹姆斯拥有交易否决权，并且也表示不想离开湖人，这次詹杜库合体也未能达成。
詹姆斯、杜兰特、库里在2024年夏天巴黎奥运会齐聚美国男篮，并率队夺金。
