国际学术期刊《科学》杂志北京时间2025年2月21日发表了华中农业大学韩文元教授团队题为“Base-modified nucleotides mediate immune signaling in bacteria（碱基修饰核苷酸介导细菌免疫信号通路）”的研究成果。该成果揭示了一种以碱基修饰核苷酸为第二信使的细菌抗噬菌体（病毒）免疫信号通路，称之为“孔明系统”（Kongming），该机制通过“借用”噬菌体自身成分激活免疫反应，为理解微生物间的生存博弈开辟了新视角。（央视新闻）
