唐斯表示：“每当这样的时刻来临，我都会特意去珍惜。年轻时，我觉得自己无所不能，什么都不会发生。后来职业生涯中伤病接踵而至，而此前我从未经历过这些。伤病让我变得谦逊，放慢了脚步，也让我懂得珍惜这些时刻，因为你永远不知道生活会给你带来什么。”
