2月7日，据媒体人“江南的城”的消息，前NBA球员辛达里厄斯-桑韦尔接近加盟CBA新疆男篮。
该媒体人写道：“前NBA球员桑韦尔接近加盟新疆广汇男篮，目前他已经抵达中国香港，一月份他收到了CBA球队的报价。”
桑韦尔出生于1994年11月15日，2017年NBA选秀大会总第48顺位被雄鹿选中，曾先后效力过快船、鹈鹕和魔术等队。2024-25赛季效力于波兰联赛，场均能够得到12.3分5篮板。
