1月26日，柯洁开直播回应了LG杯决赛退赛事件。
他向网友鞠躬，并一度落泪说：“特别特别感谢所有力挺我的人，支持我的人。柯洁永不妥协。”
目前，柯洁已经下播，在最后他也说道：“感谢支持，我会继续努力，我会很好的。”他还提到：“果然打游戏就是能让心情好很多。”
柯洁本次开播回应完LG杯争议事件后，开始玩游戏《金铲铲》，还收到了游戏官方赠送的礼物。
