据台湾气象部门消息，1月24日20时21分，台湾台南市楠西区发生4.0级地震，震源深度16.3公里。这是该部门公布的同一地点当天发生的第四次4级及以上地震。
当天，台气象部门向台南市、云林县、高雄市、嘉义市、嘉义县发出灾防警报。台湾高铁公司公告称，受地震影响，嘉义至左营路段部分列车延误。（央视新闻）
