据统计，周鹏以35岁的年纪入选，是全明星首发里年纪最大的。周鹏的人气和复出后的表现毋庸置疑，同时也说明南区前场的位置，缺少其他有说服力表现或被广泛认可的年轻明星球员。
本赛季至今，周鹏为深圳出战了18场比赛，场均得到14.3分3.2篮板2.1助攻。
