1月10日，中北大学发布消息，由中北大学与东方空间技术（山东）有限公司、北京劢亚科技有限公司三方共同实施的“中北大学——太行星座”项目正式发布，该星座由128颗智能卫星组成，2035年年底将完成全部四个阶段的项目建设。其中，“中北大学——太行星座”的试验星“中北大学一号”，将于2025年下半年完成发射，这将成为山西高校发射的首颗卫星。
