官方消息，莫耶斯接替戴奇出任埃弗顿主帅，据悉双方签约两年半。
这也是61岁的莫耶斯时隔12年重回埃弗顿担任主帅。
2002-2013，莫耶斯在加盟曼联接班弗格森爵士之前，曾经在埃弗顿执教过11年时间，带队4次闯进欧战，此后他担任过曼联、西汉姆联主帅，并带领铁锤帮赢得欧协联冠军。
