1月10日，莱比锡官方宣布，俱乐部从沃尔夫斯堡签下后卫巴库，签约至2027年。
莱比锡官方宣布，俱乐部冬窗的首笔签约已经确定，巴库从沃尔夫斯堡转会加盟，这位26岁的德国后卫签下了一份2027年到期的合同，他将身披球队的17号球衣。
巴库出自美因茨青训，2020年夏天转会加盟沃尔夫斯堡，在为狼堡出战的166场比赛中，巴库一共打入20球。
国家队层面，巴库曾为德国国家队出场4次，打入1球。
