北京时间1月9日，WTT球星挑战赛多哈站女单1/16决赛，中国澳门选手朱雨玲3-0韩国选手徐孝元，晋级16强。
本场比赛，朱雨玲发挥十分出色，在第二局更是只让对手得到1分，以11-1拿下。最终朱雨玲以3-0（11-3，11-1，11-5）轻松取胜。
值得一提的是，本场比赛朱雨玲的场外指导是国乒功勋教练吴敬平指导。
