蒂格表示：“如果杰伦-格林想要成为这支球队的明星，那他需要把自己的得分提升到场均25分、26分，他有这样的能力。我认为他现在像杰伦-布朗的角色，一个有运动能力的侧翼，他在努力做到攻守兼备，他需要在得分上更高效。”
本赛季至今，杰伦-格林场均19.3分4.4篮板2.6助攻。
