在接受Famitsu采访时，《最终幻想》之父坂口博信列出了自己在2024年最喜欢的5款游戏，让人意外的是《最终幻想7：重生》甚至不在名单中。
它们是：
1.《最终幻想16》
2.《黑神话：悟空》
3.《千变的迷宫 风来的希炼6 蛇蜷岛探险谭》
4.《勇者斗恶龙3：HD-2D重制版》
5.《王国保卫战：传奇》
《最终幻想16》实际上是2023年的游戏，首发于PS5平台，后于2024年9月登陆了Windows PC
