华嵒（1682—1756），字德嵩，更字秋岳，号白沙道人、新罗山人等，福建上杭人。生于康熙年间、卒于乾隆年间，经历“康乾盛世”，却一生贫苦，故老年自喻“飘篷者”。一位诗、书、画兼善且富于创造性的清代杰出绘画大家，扬州画派的代表人物之一。
