《张猛龙碑》现存于山东曲阜孔庙。碑主张猛龙多有政绩，人们立碑
以颂其德。此碑书法结构精绝，变化无端;用笔沉着痛快，点画如斩金截玉，方圆兼备;通体浑穆高古，且饶神骏迭宕之势;是魏碑中最有代表性的碑刻之一。
