伊万写道：“来到了瓦拉日丁，和我以前的球员乔尔卢卡在一起，现在我们是教练同行了。”
乔尔卢卡球员时期曾效力萨格勒布迪纳摩，曾和伊万有过共事，目前38岁的乔尔卢卡是克罗地亚国家队助教，伊万科维奇则是在中国国家队执教。
