汉堡俱乐部官方宣布与主帅鲍姆加特分道扬镳，助理教练雷内-瓦格纳、凯文-麦克纳也将离任，波尔津临时执教球队。
鲍姆加特是一名52岁的德国教练，他在今年2月份接手汉堡，带队战绩12胜7平8负。目前汉堡5胜5平3负积20分，在德乙联赛中排名第7位。
