We are looking for a visiting scholar and postdoctoral researcher with a solid background in cancer biology and immunology.

The visiting scholar, postdoctoral fellow, will work under the direction of Dr. Chakrabarti at the NCI-designated Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center, located at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine.

The lab focuses on understanding the function of immune cells in the tumor microenvironment to drive drug resistance/recurrence in breast cancer patients.

The laboratory has developed a variety of mouse tumor models and has used samples from human patients, patient-derived organ culture co-culture, PDX, confocal microscopy, RNA sequencing, single-cell sequencing, and other standard molecular and biochemical techniques to address these issues.

The work is supported by multiple grants from the NIH, the American Cancer Society, and the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.

➡️工作职责：

Responsible for conducting professional and advanced collaborative research experiments on mouse models and patient samples.

Develop new research protocols and procedures. Evaluate and analyze data in a timely manner. Summarize research results, attend laboratory meetings, and participate in the writing and review of papers and grant applications.

Responsible for the daily operation of the laboratory.

Candidates have completed doctoral research in cancer biology or immunology and have a record of peer-reviewed papers published as first authors.

Familiarity with animal and in vitro cancer biological models and immunology is required.

Candidates who have recently defended their doctoral dissertation are encouraged to apply.
