At the 17th Summer Paralympic Games, swimmer Jiang Yuyan won seven gold medals. When she was three, a car accident took away her right arm and leg. However, through swimming, Jiang became strong and confident. During a live program, Jiang spoke about the role of technology in creating a barrier-free living environment. She hopes that accessibility projects will allow people with disabilities to experience the facilities firsthand before they are officially accepted, so they can ensure that they truly meet accessibility standards. "When used by real people," she said, "these facilities become meaningful and fully functional, rather than mere decorations.”
