缩胃手术控制体重已被医学界接纳，但开放性手术创面大、术后不可逆，也让很多人望而却步。第七届进博会上，波士顿科学一款内镜下袖状胃成形术系统亮相，它就像一台微型缝纫机，能从内部将胃缝起一部分，患者术后平均一年体重减轻可达14%。减重成功后还能松开缝合线，让胃恢复原样。
