Hello everyone! My name is Maisory Chacha, though I prefer to be called Chacha. I earned my master’s degree from the University of Calgary, which marked the beginning of my journey with CPP and where my connection with CPP truly began.

嗨，大家好！我叫Maisory Chacha，不过我更喜欢别人叫我查查。我在卡尔加里大学获得了硕士学位，在那里我与CPP结缘，就这样我与CPP之旅正式开启。

As a big fan of Chinese technology, I’m passionate about exploring new products from China after work and enjoy outfitting my home with cutting-edge innovations. Thanks to my Chinese friends, who bring these products to me after their annual leave in Tanzania, my home is now equipped with smart Tuya and Xiaomi gadgets like sleek laptops, advanced smartphones, music players, smart breakers, and cameras—transforming it into a true smart home. It's my Chinese friends who made this possible.

作为一个中国科技的超级粉丝，我热衷于在工作之余探索中国科技方面的新产品，并喜欢用高新技术装饰我的家。感谢我的CPP中国朋友，他们每次休假结束返回到坦桑尼亚时，都会帮我带一些中国电子产品。如今，我的家中配备了涂鸦和小米的智能设备，如时尚的笔记本电脑、先进的智能手机、音乐播放器、智能断路器和摄像头等，成为了一个真正的智能小家，感谢我的中国朋友们，让这一切想象变成了可能。

I joined CPP as the Social Performance Lead for Tanzania in June 2023 and was promoted to Social Manager for the EACOP project in 2024. The EACOP project, adheres to the IFC Performance Standards and other world-class principles, setting high demands that present significant challenges. However, with the commitment of senior management and the full support of my colleagues, we are continuously improving our social performance, closing gaps, and aligning CPP with EACOP and international standards.

我于2023年6月加入CPP，在EACOP项目担任坦桑尼亚的社会绩效主管一职，并于2024年晋升为EACOP项目的社会经理。EACOP项目遵循IFC绩效标准和其他世界级原则，这种高标准的提出，给项目带来了很大的挑战。然而，在高级管理层的承诺和CPP同事们的大力支持下，我们不断提高社会工作表现，弥合差距，并使得CPP的工作与国际标准对齐。

I warmly invite you all to Tanzania to experience the breathtaking wilderness of the Serengeti and Zanzibar. I hope that Xiaomi electronics, BYD vehicles, and smart home equipment will soon be available in Tanzania, allowing us to enjoy the convenience and excitement of technology at an affordable price while also boosting the industrial and infrastructural development of my country.

在这里，我热情欢迎大家来到坦桑尼亚，体验塞伦盖蒂和桑给巴尔令人叹为观止的自然美景。我希望中国制造的小米电子产品、比亚迪汽车和智能家居设备能尽快进入坦桑尼亚的市场，这样我们就能以实惠的价格享受科技带来的便利和乐趣，同时也推动我们国家的工业和基础设施发展。

I also look forward to visiting China one day. Please surprise me, just like I am amazed every time I talk about Chinese technology with great relish. Will you welcome me to China as warmly as I welcome you here? Haha!
