进入十月，碧根果进入采摘期。全国三分之一碧根果产自江苏，其中宿迁市泗洪县是江苏碧根果主产地。目前全县种植总面积达10.4万亩，占全国总量的1/8，被称为“中国碧根果之乡” 。
