西非国家塞内加尔交通运输部表示，当地时间10月19日，达美航空一架飞往纽约的波音767飞机在塞内加尔布莱斯迪亚涅国际机场发生技术事故，紧急停靠。声明称，飞行员成功将这架载有216名乘客的飞机安全停了下来，没有人员受伤。这起事件发生前一天，美国联邦航空管理局表示将对波音公司展开新的安全审查。
