缅媒报道，克钦邦妙瓦底镇的妙瓦底-高加力多那山旧公路，包括民众乘坐的车辆在内，运输货物的车辆车费也上涨。
一名乘客称，该路段检查站较多，收取的费用也增加，因此乘车费和货运费用都翻倍上涨。
目前，妙瓦底至仰光，每人的车费为220000缅币，毛淡棉-妙瓦底的车费为150000缅币。同样的，运输货物的费用也上涨，基于运输的货物数量以及检查站收取的费用来计算。
因检查站较多且需要交费，仰光-妙瓦底部分车行已经暂停运营该路段了。
