墨西哥经济部副部长维达尔·勒莱纳斯（Vidal Llerenas）当地时间10月16日表示，通用汽车和鸿海将于本月晚些时候宣布计划，将进口产品换成在墨西哥生产的产品。此外，政府还在与DHL和Stellantis等其他大型公司进行谈判，以确定哪些产品可以在墨西哥生产。另外，英特尔也已经承诺替代部分零部件的进口。
