新加坡已故建国总理李光耀之子李显扬10月9日在社交媒体平台Facebook发布讣告，宣布其姐姐李玮玲当日在家中去世，终年69岁。讣告提到，将很快公布葬礼细节。
李玮玲2020年在Facebook公开病情，称其患上症状类似帕金森综合征的“进行性核上麻痹”（progressive supranuclear palsy）。她当时指出，这是相当严重的脑部疾病。李显扬去年3月曾透露，李玮玲“情况非常不好”。
李光耀有三个子女，分别是长子李显龙，次子李显扬，女儿李玮玲。
