Meridian Sport报道称，内博伊沙-乔维奇竞选塞尔维亚篮协主席的提议得到了该国最高篮球组织大会30名代表的支持。
因此乔维奇在10月1日举行的塞尔维亚篮协大会会议上的当选应该只需要走完流程即可，因为该机构总共由33名代表组成。
在此之前，现任贝尔格莱德红星队主席的乔维奇曾在20世纪90年代中期担任当时南斯拉夫篮协的最高职务。
