王延格，字青霞，山东人。多巧思，善山水花卉，尤长摹古，与李征君眉山交好。曾为盘山图。分之则二十四幅各有成章，合之为一大轴，天衣无缝。所绘百种菊谱，虽染点取法恽寿平，而冷艳淡逸，别有运用之妙，谱左自书所撰菊谱。为朱青雷画中十哲歌之一，诗云：青霞琅琊大道王，足茧万里胸包藏。蜀山粤水勤皴勷。
