据《防务新闻》报道，乌克兰正寻求购买 12 架 AH-1Z Viper 攻击直升机，这些直升机均在美国制造。
斯洛伐克最初打算以 3.4 亿美元购买，但当价格上涨至 6 亿美元时，斯洛伐克放弃了购买意向。乌克兰议员 Vadym Ivchenko 透露，乌克兰在 2022 年就对这些直升机表现出了兴趣，并已联系美国议员，敦促拜登总统在斯洛伐克拒绝的情况下协助转让。
