2024西太平洋国际航次科考自8月10日起航以来，“蛟龙号”载人潜水器已在西太平洋海域完成18次下潜任务，搭载包括8名外籍科学家在内的十余名中外科学家探索深海。
这是“蛟龙号”的首个国际航次，也是“蛟龙号”首次搭载外籍科学家下潜作业。
