据央视新闻，当地时间8月2日，巴勒斯坦伊斯兰抵抗运动（哈马斯）已故领导人哈尼亚的悼念和葬礼仪式在卡塔尔在首都多哈举行。大量当地民众来到现场参加悼念活动。
仪式结束之后，哈尼亚遗体将运往多哈以北卢塞尔市的一处公墓进行安葬。
哈尼亚7月31日凌晨在伊朗首都德黑兰遭暗杀身亡。
