1号线支线工程已纳入轨道交通第三期建设规划、北京市重点工程计划。1号线支线工程丰台区段自永定河东岸至青龙湖东站，线路长度约17.1公里，全地下敷设，设有园博园西门站、张郭庄站、西二区站、后吕村站、云岗站、王佐站、民族大学站、青龙湖东站8座车站，其中张郭庄站、后吕村站两站为换乘站。目前，1号线支线工程丰台区段部分点位已开工建设。
